Before long we were joined by other visitors and passersby for music, story-telling and conversation. “The Alpine in has the best view in Little Switzerland, NC. It is under new ownership, and they are doing a great job. You can have a hot breakfast out on deck with beautiful views of the mts. It is well priced for these times and so clean which is important to us. Its a simple B&B and you will love it. It is so relaxing and join the new owners by the fire at night. We will return in October for those beautiful colors off the deck.”

“I read about this place then while hiking, someone else mentioned it. I decided to stop in while exploring the blue ridge parkway on my way to Asheville. I’m so glad I did. This place is such a treat. The view is amazing. Watching the sunrise off the private balcony was breathtaking! The rooms are clean. The hot breakfast on the deck was excellent and the hosts were exceptional. I love this place! No this and no air conditioning, and it was a little slice of heaven! Most definitely will return!”

“My wife and I just stopped in to see the Alpine on a day trip. When we got there and were just looking, one of the new owners, Carter Francois, invited us in for a piece of hot cinnamon bread just out of the oven to eat it on the deck. The whole experience of talking with Carter while taking in the best view we’ve seen yet of the NC mountains was simply amazing! We’re definitely going to return to stay for a few days in the future and will recommend the Alpine Inn to our friends!”

“I really enjoyed my stay, my room was just perfect,just as it was mentioned in the description when I booked.My view from my room was great! I really loved the view from the porch,it was perfect.

I had breakfast and I chose the alpine breakfast, it was delicious,especially the fresh fruit bowl.In the evenings they had fire to sit by and meet the other guests and I really enjoyed meeting other people from all over.

The owners Carter and Steve really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and are comfortable . If you want a nice and comfortable place to stay that has a lot of charm and views,I recommend The Alpine Inn.”
